RYSAN has been providing scholarships to the 30 students studying in different public schools from grade 5-12. These students were victims of the great earthquakes of April 2015. Seven out of 30 students have passed out from high school. RYSAN has accepted students from grade 1-12 from the FY 2078/2079. RYSAN has made fixed deposit in the banks and distributing scholarship from the interest money of the FD amount. The fund was received from Rotary Yoneyama Foundation Japan and the membership fees of the members.
RYSAN started distributing scholarship from 2016.
At the beginning the number was 25 students per year from class 4 to 12 grade.
Later the number has been increased to 30 per year.
We have made Rs.80,00,000.00 (eight million) rupees fixed deposit in 3 banks (MNDB, LDB and KDB) and have been distributing scholarship from the interest money of the FD amount
By last April (2023), 50 students recieved RYSAN Scholarship. These students were victims of the great earthquakes of April 2015.
20 out of 50 students have passed out high school level (grade 12).
